The mission of STS is to completely automate the working of an institution. When every academic year starts, staff has to perform admission procedures of a huge number of students, and then they need to store all the paper work in a safe place. After the admission procedures are over, manual allocation of students to different divisions, and generation of roll numbers according to alphabetical order is again a huge task. When a new staff joins, all the paper work has to be done and has to be stored. Every day tasks, like marking staff attendance and taking student's attendance is also a very time consuming work. After examinations are over, totaling of marks, generating progress reports and awarding ranks to students is again a time consuming process for the staff. Much of the staff's time is wasted by doing such non-teaching work.

At the start of every academic year , the most tedious task is to prepare a time table. Administration or the concerned person(s) will have to sit together to allocate the admitted students their respective classrooms and to assign qualified teachers, to the student's understanding. After creating the time table when a teacher takes leave, administration has to manually reallocate the classes. Similar difficulties might occur in fees collection, payroll generation and accounting also.

When Head office or Regional office needs a report of a staff or a student from a particular school, they need to inform the school about the need of the report and also they need to handover the format of the report to the schools and wait for the school to send the report. This process will again increase the work load on the staff in the concerned school. When using a centralized school management system, the benefit is that the head office or regional office can directly login to the system, access the school from where the report is needed and generate the report according to their convenience. This process will save the time of head office/regional office, as well as of the school.

STS - Centralized School Management System, helps in the working of an institution, from head office level to regional office level and even to the school level.
